Interlok Adjustment

The interlok adjustment system is a internal retention system that ensure windage and elevation adjustments remain zeroed during recoil. Competitor reflex sights typically require the adjustment system be unlocked using a screw or set of lock screws. These designs can be damaged or break if the customer forgets to loosen the locking screw. The interlok adjustment system removes the need of a locking screw so shooters can make adjustments on the fly.

4 Different Reticle Options

Choose between four reticle options to allow for a custom and personalized shooting experience. 5 MOA dot,

3 MOA dot with 50 MOA circle

3 MOA dot with 50 MOA crosshair

3 MOA dot with 30 MOA circle/crosshair.

Adjustable reticle brightness

Sightmark Sights are activated using the brightness control knob. There are 3 day time brightness controls and 3 night vision mode settings.

Perfect Entry-Level Reflex Sight

Perfect Entry-Level Reflex Sight
OVERVIEW:I looked high and low for the best sub-$100 reflex sight and in the running for that prize were a few Bushnell red dots, the Primary Arms red dot, the ADE Advanced Optics Crusader and a few of the Sightmark models (though most were above the $100 mark). The ADE was tempting as it was the lowest priced, had a 2MOA dot, red and green reticles as well as 8 different reticle patterns to choose from. What held me back was build quality, company reputation and customer service- which seemed to be hit and miss. Then the price jumped up to Sightmark's ballpark, so the main advantage disappeared. I decided against the Bushnell and Primary Arms models as they were traditional tube designs rather than a heads-up design and had only a single reticle (a dot). With tubes, the adjustment barrels obscure the peripheral sight picture somewhat while with heads-up designs, the only thing blocking your view is the thin "window pane" around the glass. So Sightmark became my lead contender as I wanted a heads-up design with at least a handful of reticle options from a company that stood behind their product. As I didn't think I needed night vision compatibility or a quick detach mount, I went with this model rather than Sighmark's more popular offerings which offer both. But this model appears to be the same build quality as the more expensive versions, simply minus those features. Came in a nice box with a basic user manual, allen wrench, cover and cleaning cloth.PROS:+Solid build quality+4 Reticle patterns+Decent battery life+Neoprene cover+Absolute co-witness with my flip-up iron sightsCONS:-Red reticles only (applies to most Sighmark models)-No quick detach mount-Not night vision compatibleBOTTOM LINE:Hard to beat for the money. I'd prefer a lower-third co-witness setup, but absolute has it's advantages as well. I could always put a small riser on it if I really wanted lower-third. As with most reflex sights in this price range, if you switch reticles, you'll need to re-zero, so best to pick one and stick with it. I chose the 3MOA dot with 30MOA circle and 50MOA crosshair extensions. The circle is useful for up-close shots and the crosshair extensions help line up follow-up shots if you're adjusting for windage and elevation on the fly. Overall very happy with my purchase, but if you're in the market, give the other contenders listed here a look as they might fit your preference and setup better.

I really like this sight. I currently own the quick disconnect digital switch version of this sight. I bought it about a year ago at Amazon on sale last Christmas. I have put nearly 2000 rounds thru the sight on a 5.56 upper in the last year with no problems. Now on to this sight. I just bought it and I have to tell you that I actually like it better than the digital QD version.

There are several reasons for this:

This one uses 1 CR1632 battery as opposed to the 3 AG5 batteries that the QD version uses. Much easier to make a battery change. The AG5s are cheap to buy online but making a battery change is a delicate process that requires some practice.

This one has a manual switch which I prefer much more than the digital switch. No chance of the sight accidentally being turned on while in the case. It has clear markings and definite clicks on the switch showing exactly where your brightness setting is set at and whether or not the sight is on or off. When I shot at a dark indoor range I was constantly pressing the digital switch to make sure I was on the lowest setting. With this one there is no doubt.

Finally you may think that you would miss having the Quick Disconnect on this one like the Digital one has. Not really. The field of view is so wide on this sight that if you have MBUS on the upper, just look right thru the sight if it fails and use your MBUS. No problems at all. I have done this all year with the QD digital version I have been using. No need to ever take the sight off.

Also I own 2 Vortex Strikefires which are awesome sights that I really like. But I find the red dot on the 2 Sightmarks much easier to make out clearly with my astigmatism. But that may just be my eyes.

I added this sight to cart about 6 months ago and waited for the price to go up and down until it recently hit a low of 39.99 and I bought it. Well worth the money. Looking back the digital switch and quick disconnect is not worth the extra price to me.

Hope this helps some of you.

There are a ton of reviews good and bad of Sightmark products. I decided to go ahead and purchase the Sightmark Ultrashot for my Wife's AR15. I purchased this item on June 22, 2017 and received it on June 28, 2017. On June 29, 2017 I mounted it on my Wife's AR15 took it to the range. (3) SHOTS at (25) yards and I had it zeroed. Shooting at an 8x5 steel plate at (75) yards I put a 100 rounds through my Wife's AR15. All hits and the sight held zero fine. I was so impressed with the performance of the Optic on July 06, 2017 I decided to order one for my AR15 and replace my Bushnell TRS-25. It arrived on July 14, 2017. On July 15, 2017 I mounted it on my AR15 and took it to the range. I was unable to site this Optic in as it kept turning on and off after each shot. I did read about this problem in the reviews before I purchased either one of these Optics. "PISSED OFF"!!! I pack up and head home. Once home I log onto AMAZON and report my problem. This is why I love Amazon, I received a new optic the next day which was on a Sunday. I mount it on my AR15 and go to the range. (4) SHOTS at (25) yards and I had it zeroed. Once again shooting at an 8x5 steel plate at (75) yards I put a 100 rounds through my AR15. All hits and the sight held zero. My personal experience is you have a 50/50 chance of getting a working Optic. If you are a lucky one and receive a working Optic you are going to love it. Very easy to use and acquire your target and most of all keep your hits on target....
